About Our Roles in Investment Banking
Investment Banking provides broad-based, global service with expertise in mergers and acquisitions, privatizations, and equity, debt and highyield financings. Investment Banking encompasses two areas: Industry Coverage Investment Banking and the Financing Group. This dual structure enables the firm to offer the broadest range of products and advisory services, furthering its ability to deliver best-in-class solutions to clients.
Job Responsibilities
The Internship Program is a rewarding experience for undergraduates. By working alongside Goldman Sachs professionals, interns learn the skills and knowledge necessary to become integral members of Goldman Sachs' project and client teams. The program has an emphasis on learning on the job, working alongside other members of the team in ongoing projects
As the program evolves, interns have the opportunity to be part of various transactions in a wide range of industries. Through this, interns quickly develop proficiency and participate in many aspects of financial transactions. Interns are involved with teams of professionals at all levels who serve as both instructors and mentors. Within this environment, ideas are continuously shared and creative thinking and individual initiative are encouraged.
Interns will gain exposure to the firm's businesses and expanded knowledge of the investment banking industry while developing important analytical and communication skills. Program will range from December 2026 to February 2027.
Basic Qualifications
Business proficiency in English and Spanish
A keen, long-term interest in investmentbanking
Drive, enthusiasm, creativity and excellent interpersonal skills
Strong quantitative and technical abilities
An outstanding academic record (recommended course work in finance, economics and accounting)
Personal integrity, initiative and leadership qualities
Strong verbal and written communications skills
