Ardian Infrastructure team works closely both with major international industrial, utility and construction companies, as well as infrastructure operators and with public authorities, as partners, clients or key stakeholders.

 Job Description
The new Infrastructure Intern will be based in the Santiago office but will be part of a global Infrastructure team of over 60 professionals. Accordingly, he/she will have the opportunity to work closely with team members in the Santiago office and interact with professionals from different offices, gaining insights into the exciting world of the infrastructure private equity industry.

His/her tasks will be linked with the main activities of Ardian Infrastructure funds:

  • Support in building infrastructure valuation models and companies’/projects’ financial analyses

  • Support in updating portfolio companies’ financial performance and valuations

  • Collaborate in the production of various documents together with investment managers or analysts for:

    • Investment support memos (2-pagers, investment committees’ memorandums)

    • Internal reporting

    • Advisory Boards and Annual General Meetings

    • Client reporting & meetings

    • Fundraising

Profile

  • Top-tier Business or Engineering School or University. Internship is also open for recently graduated professionals.

  • Fluent in English

  • Eligibility to work in Santiago for at least 3 months is essential. Part-time option can be discussed

Andescan - Investment Analyst Infrastructure and Natural Resources

Position Overview:

As an Investment Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the management of existing portfolio companies, collaborating with OTPP members on strategic initiatives, and evaluating potential investment opportunities across Latin America. You will also have the opportunity to lead and execute infrastructure and natural resources M&A transactions within the Andean region.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Portfolio Management: Work closely with portfolio company management teams to implement value-enhancing initiatives and strategic projects. Collaborate with OTPP members on key strategic decisions and initiatives.

  2. Investment Analysis: Evaluate potential investment opportunities in infrastructure and natural resources sectors across Latin America. Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, due diligence, and risk assessment.

  3. M&A Transactions: Lead and execute infrastructure and natural resources M&A transactions within the Andean region. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders throughout the transaction process.

  4. Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain complex financial models to support investment decision-making and strategic planning.

  5. Communication: Communicate effectively with internal teams, external advisors, and portfolio company stakeholders. Prepare investment memos, presentations, and reports for senior management and OTPP members.

  6. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Andescan and OTPP to leverage expertise and resources in support of investment objectives.

Candidate Profile:

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with a keen attention to detail.

  • 0-2 years of experience in Investment Banking, Investment Management, or Finance, with a focus on infrastructure and natural resources preferred.

  • Proficiency in written and verbal English is required.

  • Ability to work effectively across diverse teams, demonstrating strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Bonus: Proficiency in financial modeling and PowerPoint skills.
