Aviron Investments is currently looking to add an Analyst or Associate to its Private Markets Team

Our partners include leading global asset managers, family businesses, and entrepreneurs, among others
In our private markets strategy, we have executed over 70 transactions in Buyout, Growth Equity, and Real Estate, partnering with global private equity firms, sector-specific, regional mid-sized funds, family businesses, and entrepreneurs
In our public markets strategy, we invest across +80 countries in multiple industries and currencies. This is complemented by an Alternative Credit platform that spans Direct Lending to Opportunistic corporate debt
We are currently looking to grow our Private Markets Team. We are seeking someone who is passionate about investing and pursues an international exposure to join our team, with 4 to 8 years of relevant experience in Private Equity, Investment Banking, Consulting or Finance positions
Main Responsabilities:
Map and engage with fund managers, investors, and placement agents to assess high-quality investment opportunities
Conduct in-depth industry analysis of new investment themes, sectors, and geographies
Help enhance long term strategy and collaborate on strategic initiatives
Analyze and prioritize incoming opportunities to be discussed with investment team
Coordinate all fronts of due diligence in investment opportunities. Lead review of financial models, investment memos and key diligence documents
Prepare and deliver investment recommendations to the Investment Committee
Manage portfolio performance review with close relationship with global partners
Provide regular updates to the Investment Committee to make informed and highly strategic commercial decisions
Work in partnership with Aviron’s legal, finance and public markets teams
Qualifications we are looking for:
Undergraduate in Industrial Engineering, Business/Economics or similar
Master in Business Administration, Master’s in Finance or similar is desirable (not required)
4 to 8 years of relevant experience in Private Equity, Investment Banking, Consulting or Finance positions
Advanced business and financial acumen with strong understanding of financial modeling and due diligence processes
Demonstrated ownership and independence, coupled with outstanding critical thinking to assess investment opportunities
Entrepreneurial mindset with deep self-responsibility, a drive for excellence, and the highest standards of integrity
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to present complex financial information clearly and concisely (English and Spanish)
Advanced Spanish and English
