  • Apoyo en la ejecución y originación en los diferentes servicios de asesoría

  • Preparación de presentaciones e informes para clientes y equipos internos

  • Análisis sectoriales con énfasis en fundamentos financieros y estratégicos, participantes clave (reguladores, actores, etc.) y normativa

Requisitos:

  • Proactivo y con capacidad de trabajo en equipo

  • Gran capacidad analítica y conocimientos de Microsoft Office (especial énfasis en Excel y PowerPoint)

  • Dominio avanzado de inglés, hablado y escrito

  • Capacidad para trabajar bajo presión

  • Se valorará la experiencia laboral previa de hasta dos años en finanzas corporativas, desarrollo corporativo, equity research o áreas similares

Job Description

Our Global Investment Bankers are dedicated to understanding the unique competitive and operating environments of different businesses, and to building strong, enduring client relationships. The Chile Investment Banking team provides M&A advisory and Capital Markets services to Chilean companies and multinational clients across all industries with assets or prospecting businesses in the country. As an Off-Cycle Analyst, you will cover Chile primarily, supporting the local team, as well as coverage and industry bankers out of New York.

Responsibilities

Throughout the program, you will support the business with the following activities:

  • Play a key role assisting Senior Bankers in origination efforts, opportunity evaluation and deal execution, working on a broad scope of assignments and products.

  • Create various financial analyses, including rating assessments.

  • Perform comprehensive and in-depth company and industry research.

  • Prepare presentations and other materials for client.

  • Participate in due diligence sessions and client meetings.

  • Interact with deal team members and clients.

Core skills and requirements

  • No more than 2 years of professional experience since graduation, with degrees in finance, economics, business administration, industrial engineering or similar.

  • Solid MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills.

  • Fluent in English and Spanish – business-level communication.

  • Must have a combination of strong quantitative/analytical skills, attention to detail and client focus.

Bank of America - Global Payments Solutions Off-Cycle Analyst Program

Functions:

  • Based in the Santiago, Chile Rep office will support the onshore GPS FI/Corp Nobramex teams across Chile, Argentina, Bolivia, Uruguay and Paraguay with client communications, assist in client planning sessions, responding to request for proposals, developing pricing strategies and monitor and control pipeline management.

  • Work with international business partners on global bank initiatives gathering and filtering data to prepare/execute business models;

  • Prepare pitch books, meeting materials, ad-hoc research reports and other client presentations.

  • Identify potential solutions to customer needs. Routes customer request to the appropriate Treasury Sales Officer (TSO) for further analysis.

  • Utilizes technical knowledge to run pricing/cost benefit models; confers with TSO regarding non-standard pricing and negotiation.

  • Assist with coordinating the documentation preparation function, assists TSO in relationship planning, gathering information regarding prospects and updating plan as needed.

  • Obtain appropriate credit approval for selected products; ensures ongoing compliance and monitors risk related to products and services. Perform due diligence and know-your-client activities.

  • Assist the Treasury Sales Officer by overseeing Service Center activities and responding to questions from the service center

 

Job requirements

  • Currently enrolled in, or recently completed: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or related courses; with up to 2 years of experience in banking or related fields;

  • Fluent English is mandatory.

    The ideal candidate will be responsible for using their analytical mindset to analyze and interpret financial data, then relating it to potential business trends and issues.     The role provides financial analysis, insight into underlying performance on TWC, CAPEX, Risk Management & cashflow. It is the strategic finance business partner to Finance & local leadership team.
