Hudson Bankers is expanding its Corporate Finance and M&A team as our activity continues to grow across Central America, Colombia, Peru, and from our headquarters in Santiago, Chile.

We are seeking an Associate with prior experience in investment banking, corporate finance, private equity, transaction advisory, or related fields within our geographic footprint. The ideal candidate is fully bilingual, execution-oriented, and capable of leading transaction processes in a fast-paced, cross-border environment.

The Associate will play a central role in transaction execution, assuming full ownership of workstreams, leading analysts, and ensuring timely and high-quality delivery across mandates. 

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution phase of M&A and corporate finance transactions, coordinating all analytical and process-related workstreams

  • Take ownership of deliverables, ensuring quality, accuracy, and strict adherence to deadlines

  • Build, review, and validate detailed financial models, including full valuation analyses (DCF, trading comps, transaction comps)

  • Lead the preparation of pitchbooks, teasers, CIMs, management presentations, and other client-facing materials

  • Coordinate and manage due diligence processes, interacting directly with clients, legal advisors, auditors, and other counterparties

  • Supervise, guide, and mentor analysts, ensuring professional development and high performance

  • Conduct and oversee industry, market, and company research to support transaction strategy and positioning

  • Support negotiations and transaction structuring alongside senior team members 

Required Skills

  • Strong financial modeling and valuation expertise

  • Demonstrated ability to lead transaction execution workstreams

  • Excellent project management and organizational skills

  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills

  • Fluent/Advanced English level

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellence in written and oral communications

  • Solid academic background in Economics, Finance, Engineering, or related fields

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, private equity, or similar roles
