General Purpose:
Lead, refine and monitor the investments and results achieved by Moneda in terms of environment, social responsibility and corporate governance. Environmental, social, and governance related research of key investee companies and industries of Moneda’s investment strategies, and collaboration on client’s requests on ESG matters.
Main Responsibilities:
Support and develop policies, criteria, and tools for the ESG integration and sustainability best practices into the equity and credit investment research process
Carry out strategic relationships with clients regarding sustainable investment matters
Produce issuers’ and funds’ ESG analysis for clients and the investment team
Monitoring engagement with companies on ESG throughout a long-term relationship with companies’ IR, Finance, and/or Sustainability departments
Support the active ownership strategy of Moneda
Collaborate on Moneda’s compliance with sustainability-related regulations
Build strategic relationships with large prospective clients, regulatory entities, and financial associations
Collect and analyze quantitative and fundamental data related to the ESG behavior of companies and industries
Lead and contribute to the development and build-out of ESG capabilities, identifying key trends related to sustainable investing and how they could be applied by Moneda Asset Management
Provide ad-hoc support on RFPs and other capabilities inquiries, as required
Candidate Profile:
Experience:
Demonstrable experience: From 2 to 4 years of quantitative and qualitative ESG and financial data management
Education (Bachelor):
Engineering, Economics, or Environmental-related studies
Mandatory Skills:
Excel: High-level data manipulation and analysis
English: Fluent. Mandatory for frequent external counterparties relations
Desirable Skills:
Data tools expertise: Bloomberg, MSCI, Morningstar, and/or ESG
Reporting Frameworks (EU SFDR, PRI, TCFD, DJSI, CDP, etc)
Experience: Working in ESG for financial institutions (Asset Managers, Asset Owners, Corporate Banking, ESG-Third Parties Data Providers)
Post-graduate degrees: Sustainability, Engineering, Finance, or Economics
